Ammonite Fossil Earrings (gold wire)

Yukon Rustic Jewelry

It is hard to resist the natural beauty of these small Ammonite fossil earrings. I originally was only designing them into pendants but folks started to request earrings. After a lot of searching I was able to find "smaller” ammonites for earrings; but there is limited stock, so the availability of these earrings will fluctuate. Great for those special occasions or a more casual look.

Ammonite, which means coiled horn, was an air breathing invertebrate. It looked like an ancestor of the squid except its body was protected by a coiled, chambered shell. They flourished during the Mesozoic Era - about 250 million years ago.

Earring Size (from bottom of bail): 1.25 x .75 inch

Metal: Tarnish Resistant Brass Wire

The wire wraps on my earrings are just like people’s faces, where one side is not exactly the same as the other side. Sometimes I go for getting a close match but most of the time I am in “creative free flowing mode” so the wire work is different. You get to decide which earring suites each side of your face…a lot more fun this way!!!

Treat yourself or someone special to my one of a kind handcrafted earrings, created from my remote rustic cabin home in the Yukon wilderness. And know that you are holding an original creation that took mother nature millions of years to create.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
Thank you!
